Creative Writing Nuts and Bolts
This is an ideal course for those beginning to write as well
as those looking to improve their skills, led by a professional
writing tutor.
Each workshop is relaxed and informal with plenty
of time for writing and getting to know the other writers present.
Using a mixture of discussion, examples from printed works along
with group and individual exercises, the sessions are lively
and fun. All necessary materials are provided so all you need bring
is paper and pen (or your laptop if you prefer).
You will gain a deeper understanding of how and why a story
works (or doesn’t).
This is about your writing so you are welcome to bring
any ongoing projects and apply all exercises to your own work.
Included in the price is a light lunch for those who would like
it or you may make your own arrangements if you prefer. You are
responsible for evening / other meals.
The Creative Writing course is over
five days, two classes per day, 2 hours morning and afternoon and is limited
to a maximum of six people per course (usually four) to ensure
individual attention.
