A RAINY DAY IN TORROXA wintery day here in Torrox village today. It is pouring down. Very reminiscent of when I lived in Malaya and it was the wet season. There it occurred at 4pm every afternoon for about 3 months. You could rely on it. Set you watch by it. Here when the 'Monsoon' season sets in it sometimes rains for months on end, without a break, but this year we are just having days of it. And today is one of those times. It thunders down and because Torrox is built on one side of a steep vally and the streets are terraced, the water cascades downbank just like a river. I find it hilarious. It isn't cold and if I am out and the water is flowing fast, then I just roll up my trouser legs, take my shoes off and just paddle! 'SAD DAYS' When it rains like this though the house tends to be quite dull and we have to have all the lights on. My 'other half' and Lily, my lovely cat, do not like days like these and they both have a 'sad' on. They both mope around, don't want to really do anything. There is such a difference in them when the sun comes out. Tomorrow will be a lovely day though, as it is J's birthday.
