Torrox Costa, Costa Del Sol

Torrox Costa is located on the coast about 4km from Torrox Pueblo

In contrast to the traditional white village of Torrox Pueblo, Torrox Costa is much more modern and commercial. Taking advantage of the 9km of clean sandy beaches, hotels, apartments and a promenade of bars and restaurants have sprung up. Although much more lively and modern than Torrox Pueblo, Torrox Costa is not as busy as the larger costal developments on the Costa Del Sol and has been tastefully developed. There are many market style stalls selling various tourist and craft items in the summer evenings with a large street market on Mondays. There are three medium sized supermarkets. Well worth a visit on a Monday to seek the market bargains and window shop.
