Torrox Scrapbooking

GOING AHEAD

Since I last wrote, I have been putting together a few plans for this Scrapbooking business.  I have organisewd a monthly Friday afternoon demonstration in one of the local bistros here in Torrox Pueblo, where I have a good sized space with about 6 tables all for my use.  I have also prepared some quite nice leaflets detailing exactly what Scrapbooking is and giving details of my Workshops and courses and these I am handing out at the Farmer's Market, just outside Velez-Malaga every Tuesday.  The response has been good, with appointments being booked for lessons! So, on the way, hopefully.

I am developing some very nice little concetina folding cards with quotes on either for daughters, mothers, friends and I have done one on commission (!) for a lady whose son was getting married. If I say so myself, they are very sweet!

Another thing I am looking into is the making of Scrapbook Albums covers. I have sourced the board and will be having a go at cutting round, square and oblong shapes out and seeing how they work.

Next step is advertising. One of the local free newsheets is offering a months free press and internet advertising, so that is worth looking into.
