Future Ideas!

With everything else that has been going on in my life, my Scrapbooking venture seems to have taken a back seat. But now that my broken wrist is healing, albeit slowly, I feel it is time to alter the situation.

So, why do I believe Scrapbooking (or, as the Americans call it - Memory Books) is an important craft to take up? Everyone has roots, everyone has a history, everyone has a rstory to tell.  Who you are, where you come from, your roots, you hopes. YOUR life, in all its minuita, is IMPORTANT. It is YOU.

Your children? Do they know the REAL YOU? Put it down, tell YOUR story - before it's all over and forgotten.

Scrapbooking does this in a very special way, using your photos, yes even those kept in the cardboard box under the bed. Dust them off, write about them, pretty them up (lots of ways to do this), place them in an Album and TELL YOUR STORY!

What I am hoping to do is to begin a series of Scrapbooking workshops, using either Casa Sandra or Casa Sueno (both properties on my website www.Spanish-hols.com) to teach Scrapbooking and also to hold 'Open Mornings' where all are welcome to come and try their hand - with coffee and juice on tap.

I also want to start Scrapbooking Holidays or Courses, much in the same way as the Creative Writing Course, which can be seen under Specialist Holidays on www.Spanish-hols.com, using the talents of a professional Scrapbooking Tutor.  Any ideas or suggestions on this venture would be greatly appreciated.

Over the next few weeks I will be photographing how my life is and where I live and I will be using my own photos to tell my story.
