SO, what is SCRAPBOOKING

Where are YOUR photos of friends and family?

I bet, that like mine, utmost of them can be found in shoe boxes under the bed!

 That?s where I used to keep mine?never to be looked at, events and occasions forgotten.

Not any more. Now the shoe boxes have been taken out, emptied and thrown away.

I have SCRAPBOOKED the memories.

SO, what is SCRAPBOOKING?

Not quite what we used to do as kids.

Remember the flour paste?

The brown dull grey or brown sugar paper?

All that has been dragged into the 21st Century.

Now memories are what they ought to be.

Stories of  your life, memories of friends and families.

Your happy times?all put together into beautiful albums, using papers, embellishments, journaling, photos and memories.

SCRAPBOOKING has been around for centuries.

The Victorians were big fans of this type of craft work.

The process of SCRAPBOOKING can be used for many purposes and in many ways.

You can use it to record events in the past, for example, someone?s Anniversary, maybe your parent?s 50th, recording and honouring their happy times.

You could chart your family tree, using photos, mementoes and certificates?showing ?Who fits where? in your life.

How about making a record of YOUR life? Your marriage? Make a story of who YOU are and what you did.

Start an album for YOUR children?things which can be handed down for future generations.

It?s not difficult BUT it does get addictive!

The ONLY limitations being your own IMAGINATION.
