Casa Clara is situated in the quiet and beautiful Andalucian countryside but is just 10 mins walk from Torrox Pueblo's main square. There is parking outside the property.
This is one of the best properties available to rent for a holiday in the area .
Not just another holiday villa, it is a true cortijo (meaning farmhouse, pronounced "cor teeko") that has been tastefully and skilfully modernised.
You will not find swish frills and fancy curtains but you will find a mix of Moorish Moroccan influence and modern Andalusia.

On parking, you will walk up a few steps to find yourself passing by the garden 'quiet' area.......glass of wine, good book?
Then you arrive at the large terrace, which will easily
sit your party for an 'al fresco' meal, overlooking the tranquil
countryside listening to the birds and crickets chirping.
Surrounded by old Spanish white walls with colour provided by startling red geraniums in terracotta pots. Garden furniture including a swing is provided for you.
Leading round from this is the swimming pool (complete with stone stature of a lovely lady!) and tiled lounging area complete with sun beds. To complete your enjoyment of balmy warm evenings, the area is lit at night.
The Cortijo is all on one level. On entering you come to the large open plan lounge and American style kitchen. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge freezer, electric oven, washing machine, toaster, juicer and more than enough cutlery crockery, pots and pans to last for your holiday.
The lounge is very spacious with a large, comfortable day bed (to sleep one), chaise lounge, TV (Spanish), video, DVD player, CD/radio, open fire. It is immaculately decorated in a quiet Moroccan style complete with rugs and cushions.
Leading off the lounge are the two spacious bedrooms (one double and one double with an extra single bed). Both are cool and quiet to ensure a restul night.
The fully tiled bathroom is a very good size with full bath, overhead shower, toilet and washbasin.
The Cortijo has a large tropical Mediterranean garden with many flowers and fruit trees (fruit for the use of!!) There is also a barbeque for your use.
Each week the Gardener and pool cleaner call, if you wish housekeeping services can be arranged for a small extra charge.

Pool, terrace area and garden suitable for children with

There is a wood-burning
stove for cooler evenings. BBQ available but not recommended
in summer months due to fire hazard.
